Save on heating costs, by fitting curtains

Usually Skinner Upholstery say - we do not ask. If asked do you have any pictures the reply is the same - No?

They do a job as requested put their 100% into it and the customer takes it away or they deliver and fit curtaining. What ever they do you can be sure you have a team of crafts person old school. Old school as in, it is done really well. Quality workmanship. Possibly why they don't ask. They know their work is good and they know that their customers are well satisfied.

They also fail to take pictures of their work. Pictures tell a story without much needed in writing. Pictures are so important to show what a business can do.

Here is where I come in. I love to write and love to take pictures. Plus fortunately my wife and I have employed Skinner Upholstery to do a few jobs in our home.

First as my wife wanted to change our dining room into a lime green, we needed our blue dining chairs re-upholstered into green. They look really good now.

Then there is the hallway. Last year we had the carpenter/builder Wots Wot extend our entranceway and  give us more internal space.  Now we needed a curtain to stop the draught and cold and to get the quality we needed Skinner Upholstery.

On 1st February Phil and Sandrea called to fit the new hallway curtain. My, what a difference we noted overnight. We have also noted just how these curtains are cutting down how often the heating is cutting in. Now this is a good thing! Cutting down on heating costs is something we all need to think about.  I Know that they have added pictures under "Curtains"

Phil fitting our hallway curtains.

Shutting the cold out and keeping the heat in.

First thing I noted in the morning was the difference in the temperature between the hallway and  the other side between the curtain and the door. It had been a very frosty night and our car was white with frost. Our hallway was pleasantly heated, although as I remarked the heating was not running as it used to. I opened the curtain to take something's out to our bins, I felt the difference. It was like stepping down in temperature from the warm hallway and the cold the other side of the curtain to the freeze outside.  See more pictures LINK  then scroll down.
