After a customer chooses the fabric and colour that suits their décor, we need to know how they want them hung. Do they require a pelmet? If so what kind? Is the customer open to our suggestions? Should the curtains touch the floor? Should the curtain also act as a draft excluder?
Here is a project we have started in Westbury on 28 December 2011.
We visited the customer to see their requirements. They chose the fabrics for the various curtain's and dining room seating. We measured everything to be able to order the material.
Hallway curtain fitted on 1 February 2012
Phil hang the hallway curtain which consisted of a Blue weave facing into the hallway and a beige lining facing the door. Between we had sown a thick blanket like material to stop the cold from the door reaching the hallway and thus saving on expensive heating.

This shows to us that our curtaining is worth more to you than looking good. It is practical as it helps keep the cost of heating down.

Sitting room curtains and pelmet fitted 8 February 2012
The curtains were hand sewn and the pelmet crafted and covered on both sides. The customer had requested that it should be striking, something to be noticed but not over-done. We believe from the comments that we surpassed what was expected.
Here are a few pictures of our work. The rest you can read on our customers comments.
